Emergency First Aid at Work in Reading - Wednesday 25 November 2026
Need a qualified first aider at work? Join our Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course at Reading Rowing Club, right on the Thames by Caversham Bridge, close to Reading town centre. The session runs 9am to 1pm and costs £129 per person. Your certificate is nationally recognised, meets HSE requirements and is valid for three years.
What you’ll learn: CPR and how to use a defibrillator (AED), choking, severe bleeding, shock, burns, seizures, heart attack, allergic reactions and anaphylaxis, and how to look after an unresponsive casualty. It’s hands-on and practical, taught in small groups - and a lot more enjoyable than most people expect a first aid course to be.
Who it’s for: nominated workplace first aiders in offices and co-working spaces, shops, gyms and sports clubs, salons, cafes and restaurants, schools and nurseries, trades and construction, care providers, charities and self-employed coaches and instructors across Reading, Caversham, Woodley, Earley, Tilehurst, Wokingham, Bracknell, Henley-on-Thames and the wider Berkshire area.

Gain an accredited, nationally recognised Level 3 certificate that lasts 3 years and meets HSE requirements. You’ll learn to deal with heart attack, cardiac arrest, choking, seizures, allergies and anaphylactic shock, burns, bleeds and breaks - taught practically in small groups by experienced trainers, with your certificate issued on the day.
