Our Chiswick open course is 2 hours (Thursdays, 2-4pm). On-site group courses run 2-3 hours.

Level 2 Award from ‘First Aid Awards UK’ in Basic Life Support & Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator. This qualification is valid for 3 years from the date of achievement. The learner will need to complete the full course again to requalify for a further 3 years.
It is recommended that the learner attends annual refresher training.

A Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an AED from First Aid Awards, valid for three years. The Resuscitation Council UK recommends refreshing CPR skills every year, and most workplaces book an annual session.

No. It's a CPR and defibrillator course, so it doesn't replace the HSE-required Emergency First Aid at Work certificate. If you need a workplace first aider, book EFAW instead; if you need everyone confident with CPR and the defibrillator, this is the one.

None. It's designed for complete beginners as well as people refreshing their skills. Minimum age is 16.

No written exam. You practise on manikins and a training defibrillator, and your trainer confirms you can do it.

Yes, for group bookings we can add anaphylaxis recognition and adrenaline auto-injector use, which schools and nurseries often ask for.
